In the last week or so, I've noticed drops have steadily improved, almost dramatically. I have been more often getting blues and purples, which is alright by me. Rares are still difficult to find, but I did get a superior rune salvage just a couple days ago. Too bad the rune was worth nothing, I sold the whole salvage piece for 364, meanwhile the trader surely had it valued at the bare minimum 25.

Not sure if the drop system has changed, or if I am just getting used to seeing drops differently then I did in the beginning, but lately they have seemingly improved.

I can take the loot system we have now, but I'd still like to see a more diverse drop system (more max dmg, more different weapons), and also want to see mod stats be comparable to collector items, but otherwise it is getting better. Also the Udnerworld still has major drop issues, but I doudt anything will change in the UW, until they kill the farming that is going on there.

Does anybody know how the anti farming formula works? Cause I have 4 different areas that are pretty good for farming, so I rotate and do all of them. However, the drops decrease in quality after one loop through (and they are not all in the same area like the Desert). It's pretty obvious something gets activated because no purple or gold drops and none of the blues even have parts that I can salvage (they are all either high salvagable, precious, or the lowest possible +10% damage while ____). However, when I did a mission and went back to Ascalon to do some of the crappy missions that I haven't finished, I come back and find a gold fiery dragon swords, a purple fellblade, one of those experience scrolls, two more other purple items and a load of blue items (that actually have unlockable parts) all in ONE run! The next map I go to also had good drops but then suddenly I'm back with crappy drops of blue items with no unlockable/salvagable parts and white stuff. Strange...

I always thought that you can't just zone in and out of one place, but if you have several and you rotate then it would be fine. Apparently it isn't.

It seems that only the people with all the luck do not see the drop nerf. I spent 4 hours elite skill capping in Frozen Forest, Perdition Rock, Snake Dance and Mineral Springs. Net total? Approximately 10 collector items, 4k in gold, 6 blues (counted them all), and not a single max damage item.

Had I been farming there recently? Heck, no, I was wandering around the Crystal Desert. Please tell me that there is no drop nerf....

Since I never farmed before the nerfing, I've only gotten about 2-3 golds the entire game. I haven't noticed any drop difference either, besides the singled out spots, and that's because someone claimed gold items when you didn't get them.
